Stadiums
What it cost to build or rebuild each MLS club's own stadium, in dollars of the day, from Columbus's in 1999, the league's first built for soccer. Together they cost $4.2B in dollars. Public money is recorded only where a report states it, for 4 of them so far: $315M of their $930M. A blank is a figure not yet found, not a stadium built without public money; land, roads and tax breaks are often public even where the building is not. Stadiums a club shares with an NFL, MLB or college team are left out, since their cost was not the club's.
